What the marks really mean
It’s a kid who walks out of their room confident instead of crushed. A home where school isn’t the fight you have every single night.
We use the marks to bring out the bright kid you already know is in there.
How it works
What actually changes
The skill was never about maths or English. It sits underneath all of them.
“I lifted my results from C/C/B- to A-/A-/A over one school term without turning every night into a marathon.”Henry, Year 12, Australia · Verified by SMARTR
Learn it properly the first time and you stop learning it four times. Those hours go back into sleep, sport and their mates.
“I improved my science grades by 40% in eight weeks, as a full-time triathlete, on fewer hours.”Thea C, 17, Science, Australia · Verified by SMARTR
Not the poster on the wall kind. The kind that comes from evidence.
“I went from 41% to 100% in maths in just four weeks. I stopped re-reading and actually started remembering.”Max C, 15, Maths, United Kingdom · Verified by SMARTR
Focus. Motivation. Time. Pressure. The skills of every capable adult you know, at fifteen instead of thirty five.
“I expected better organisation; I did not expect such a change in ownership. The turning point was hearing him close the books at a sensible time and say, 'I know what I can and cannot do.'”Katherine and Richard, Parents, Scotland · Verified by SMARTR

What we actually do
We teach the Smart Skills behind every good mark. How to learn, remember, think and solve problems, the stuff school expects them to already know.
Less rereading, more remembering. The same work goes in quicker, and it's still there on exam day.
Not one subject. Every subject, every assessment, every year left at school. Plus the focus, motivation and time skills they'll use for life.
And they’re never doing it alone. A mentor is with them from day one, so the skills actually get used, week after week.
In a 2023 study, students learning Smart Skills improved an average of 143% in seven weeks, measured against tutoring and against study skills training.

Not a refund, and not a partial one either. We keep working with your child, and the billing pauses while we do. Free means free. The report card is the yardstick because your child's school produces it either way, so neither of us gets to move the goalposts afterwards.
A few months from now
You walk past their room and the books are already closed. Not because they gave up. Because they’re done.
They’re out the back, or at training, or laughing with their friends in the living room. The report comes home and you don’t brace before you open it.
How much lighter would your house feel?

Yes. It’s a conversation about enrolling your teenager. You get a real diagnosis either way, and if it isn’t a fit I’ll say so.
I don’t quote a number before I know what your child needs. We’re not the cheapest option. A tutor is cheaper this week. Nobody beats us on what your child gets to keep.
We keep working with your child for free until their next report card, and the billing pauses while we do. The report card is the yardstick, so neither of us can move the goalposts. Read the full terms.
Most start there. Motivation is one of the seven skills, so it gets taught. You don’t need them on board to apply.
One Smart Skill a week. About two hours a week.
This call. After that the work is theirs. If you want to know what they’re learning in a given week, ask them to show you the skill. They’ll be able to.
I started with an occupational therapist because I couldn’t hold a pencil, so this one is personal. The skills are about how information goes in, stays in, and comes back out, and they’re taught one at a time in small steps, at your child’s pace. Tell me the diagnosis on the call and I’ll tell you honestly what I’ve seen work.
Yes, and they’re often the fastest to move. A student on A’s isn’t short on effort, they’re spending too much of it. The same skills that lift a C hold an A on fewer hours, which is the difference between a kid who’s coping and a kid who’s calm.
Neither. A skill learned in Year 7 pays off every year they’ve got left. In Year 12 the next assessment is the yardstick, and there’s always a next one until the last exam. If you’re a week out from finals, I’ll say so on the call.
You first. You’re welcome to have them on the call, and plenty of parents do.
I take every call myself. The number you see is the number left.
You’ve always known. I’d genuinely love to help you prove it to them.
